recordings I wrote about yesterday were made today, but unfortunately published yesterday, on Monday. <\/span><span title=\"Nou en?\">So what? <\/span><span title=\"We trekken er een paar uur voor uit.\">The recordings took us a couple of hours. <\/span><span title=\"Allerlei vragen worden door Paulette gesteld, terwijl ik die beantwoord voor de camera.\">Many questions are asked by Paulette while I answer those in front of the camera. <\/span><span title=\"O.a.\">Etc. <\/span><span title=\"of ik trots ben op de voltooi\u00efng van de tocht.\">Whether I&#8217;m proud of accomplishing the trip. <\/span><span title=\"Ja, dat ben ik wel, maar ik relativeer het ook sterk.\">Yes, I am, but I also relativate it strongly. <\/span><span title=\"Een relatie jaren goed houden is meestal een grotere prestatie.\">Keeping a relationship for years is usually a bigger achievement. <\/span><span title=\"Of met blijdschap blijven werken voor de zelfde baas, of voor dezelfde computer of machine, is vaak heel wat moeilijker (behalve in onze praktijk!!!?).\">Working for years with joy for the same boss, or at the same computer or machine, is often a lot harder (except in our office !!!?). <\/span><span title=\"Of kinderen opvoeden naar maatschappelijke zelfstandigheid en een minimum aan tevredenheid en noem zo maar op. &nbsp;\">Or raising children to social independence and teaching them how to reach a minimal level of satisfaction, and so on.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/span><span title=\"Als we klaar zijn met de opnames gaat mijn mobieltje.\">When we finish the recording, my mobile rings. <\/span><span title=\"Een journaliste van het paardentijdschrift Bit.\">A journalist of the horse magazine Bit. <\/span><span title=\"We praten wel een uur, eerst over hoe het er allemaal van kwam en verder voornamelijk over interactie mens-paard-hond.\">We are talking about an hour, first about how it all started, and further about interaction man-horse-dog. <\/span><span title=\"Omdat wij met de camper nog verder willen, spreken de journaliste en ik af om vanavond verder te praten. \">Because we want to go on with the camper, the journalist and I agree to talk further tonight.<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"\u2018S Avonds lees ik de vele reakties op mijn en Rudi\u00b4s blog en op facebook.\">In the evening I read the many reactions on my and on Rudi&#8217;s blog and on facebook. Today <\/span><span title=\"Het zijn er duidelijk meer dan anders.\">there are a lot more than on other days. <\/span><span title=\"Wel leuk, om op die manier wat contact met het thuisfront te hebben.\">Very nice, having some contact with the home front. <\/span><span title=\"Ik ga nu afsluiten, want het stikt hier van de inimini-vliegjes.\">I&#8217;m going to close now, because here are masses of inimini flies. <\/span><span title=\"Je ziet ze (bijna) niet, maar ze kriebelen wel. &nbsp;\">You almost do not see them, but they do itch.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/span><span title=\"Ik eet voor de derde achtereenvolgende keer pasta met vleesbolletjes in tomatensaus.\">I eat pasta with meatballs in tomato sauce for the third day in a row. <\/span><span title=\"Nog steeds lekker. &nbsp;\">Still tasty.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/span><span title=\"Vlak voor het slapen nog even dit: de Bit-dame stelde het verdere telefonische interview uit tot morgen of overmorgen.\">Just before going to sleep, the Bit lady proposed to postpone the next telephone interview until tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. <\/span><span title=\"Dat gaf Rudi de tijd om te voorschijn te komen met wat hij eigenlijk op de Noordkaap had willen doen, nl. ja ja, champagne.\">That gave Rudi time to show up with what he actually intended to do at Cape North, yes yes, champain. <\/span><span title=\"En zo bleef het toch weer gezellig, in de avondzon voor de camper in Lapland.\">And so it was cozy again, in the evening sun in front of the camper in Lapland.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/form>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Rudi opens a champagne bottle.
