But then you walk maybe about ekelige (not so nice) roads with trucks and my animals don&#8217;t like that at all. So I made a detour, hopelessly long, but beautiful. A long time along a small river, I thought the Yonne, of which the shores were flooded. We passed a gypsy camp. Oh, the word gypsy now is obsolete: Sinti or Roma. I felt directly related (the ladies less): fires were burning outside, wooden boxes with little dogs of unspecific race in it, a lot of shabby dressed children.<br \/>\nFairly sunny morning, a layer of snow on the roofs and on the fields. Most of the route was actually right along the Yonne, but here and there its shores were inundated, or gates were inaccessible for horses (see picture). I have to laugh: one must pick up dog poop with a plastic bag, warm and soft, but a horse is allowed to shit on the street. Comes a woman to the doctor:. doc, my husband says that I have an ass like a horse. The doctor begins to write furiously. Is that a prescription doc? No madam, a statement that you may poop in the street. That is not consistent,  I think: dog&#8217;s poop no, horse poop yes. But with my hand in a garbage bag picking up poop, isn&#8217;t that funny. <\/p>\n<p>In our lunch bar, finally there was one, we all had white wine. Through the outskirts of Auxerre we finally got to Venoy. Great. But reaching the municipality of Venoy is not yet the village itself. First we passed Egriselles village. Venoy village was still a few kilometers more. There I filmed a lot. We thought we were almost there anyway. The inn was supposed to be located at the entrance of the village. Probably we entered the village from the wrong side. So for us the inn was at the end of the village. We had to walk still kilometers further , to Moulin de la Coudre. And who came walking towards us there? Indeed, Bri (gitte)&#8217;s Jos. Here we are very close to the Chablis region, so we toasted with chablis. As we are in Auxerre here, capital of Burgundy, and because in my vineyard the Auxerrois grape flourishes well, I asked the waitress (with piercing through nostril) for an Auxerrois wine. Never heard of! What a dummy! Tosca is allowed in our sweltering room. I think that is animal cruelty, so instead I&#8217;ve given her a place in the woodshed outside. Leon could stay in the garage. I didn&#8217;t think that was a good idea, so I put him 300 m. further in a pasture. But it&#8217;s really snowing, says a young waitress, also with a piercing, pittying Leon. Moments later, the boss starts to clear the garage for Leon because  maybe it is going to snow. No, I say, he remains outside with his blanket on. In a pasture Leon can eat tasty (binge). Jos took concentrates in the car for Leon and for us. So the animals as well as us will be all right again.<br \/>\nHitherto the animals. That doesn&#8217;t count for the ladies. Brie-tje has organized overnight stays for Jos and for me until Wednesday. A great relief! What a woman! Resembles a bit my surrogate guardian angel Lil. And from now on Jos will be here for a week. He reports on a bad match of our football club Roda. Disgusting! So now we know again the most important issue at home. He also reported on his survival tactics homesweethome without Bri: pizza, side dish lettuce ready bought at AH or Jumbo, a fried egg. I hope he has enough energy saved for a week with 3 animals in central European countries in winter. About Sonja and I I remain silent. The intimacies (if present!) of our love are secret .
