image How does it feel to be home again? Relaxed, because no stress of finding shelter, food, care for animals. The sports club warned me that I first had to chase away this strange bird from the house, but probably the window had been open: I didn’t find one single feather. Instead I get a little extra attention from family, friends and acquaintances. A stroke on the head is even appreciated by a semi elderly.
The day before yesterday four college friends visited me. Cees, Tom, Siep and Adrie. Nice. We’ve been knowing each other from our 18th and Tom even since my 8th birthday. Catching up on everyone’s personal situation and also in general and of course just socializing. Much wisdom was dropped on the table. In the 60’s 70’s, our study, the jargon was “put the issue on the table”, “pick up something” and “do something with it.” The first two cries are being followed. The last I do not know. Many psychological problems, according to Freud stemmed from childhood sexual frustrations and difficult mother bond. That says something about Freud, I think. So I had a patient who owes his psychological problems to incest in his early childhood. When I asked if he remembered anything of it, he replied no. I said, how do you know? My psychologist has made it clear to me! Freud is out. Nowadays you solve everything with mindfulness, only after the RET and other therapies competed for hegemony in psychofield. Not too elaborate, Harry. It was nice again to catch up with college friends.
So busy with visits to and of family and friends, practice; arranging many things like adjusting my outfit for the remainder of the trip, calling the farrier, new cover for horse Leon by tents-Eddie, the wizard in construction of sails and covers in our village Vijlen.
